What is FAR ?
Financial Advisor Representative
A “Financial Advisor Representative” is an individual who has the minimum professional qualification that is approved by Bank Negara Malaysia to provide a quality financial advisory products and services.

The minimum requirement to apply for FAR as described below.
(i) The individual must go through licensed FA firm by Bank Negara
(ii) Must be minimum 21 years old
(iii) Must be the resident in Malaysia
(iv) Must be full time basis
(v) Must possess a qualification certificate
(vi) The applicant must possess a Registered Financial Planner (RFP) qualification as conferred by the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) and/or other professional qualifications as specified by the Bank from time to time.
